Library news: adult book discussion, audiobooks for young adults

Reference Librarian, Heidi Fowler will lead a book discussion group for adults on Monday, May 19,  at 7:30 p.m. at the Grafton Public Library, 35 Grafton Common.  Stop by the library to sign up and check out a copy of this month’s book: “A Grown-up Kind of Pretty”, by Joshilyn Jackson.

SYNC_14_300x250REVIf you’ve never listened to an audiobook or read a young adult novel, the Grafton Public Library wants you to know that now is the time to try both for free. Audiobooks are perfect to listen in the car on a road trip this summer.

SYNC is a program that gives away two complete audiobook downloads – a current Young Adult title paired thematically with a Classic or Required Summer Reading title – each week to listeners ages 13+ while SYNC is in session each summer.

In 2014, 26 titles will be given away over 13 weeks starting May 15. And speaking of free, don’t forget that with your library card you have access to thousands of other eBook and Audiobook titles through the CWMars OverDrive library catalog.
