GRAFTON, Mass.–Do you want locally grown veggies but can’t afford to plunk down hundreds of dollars for a farm share?
Potter Hill Farm, the Community Shared Agriculture program located at the top of Brigham Hill Road, is offering a pay-as-you-go CSA option. They made the announcement in their weekly newsletter.
“If you look at the list of all the great produce we have for sale, but you aren’t sure where to start, then this is for you,” said Jeff Backer, who operates the farm, in announcement.
Some locals know Backer and his farm through either his beef CSA program or from his farm stand at the Grafton Farmers Market.
He said there is no long-term commitment, just order by Sunday evening and pick up on Monday. He said multiple $20 shares can be purchased and he will decide what to put in the bag which might include kale, beets, lettuce, scallions, radishes, and zucchinis.
